Dr. Christoph Lind

Studied history and Political sciences at the University of Vienna, graduated in 1998, doctorate in 2001 on the „Landsprengel“ of the Jewish Community of St. Poelten.

Projects: |History of the Jews in Lower Austria from the beginnings until 1945|, |History of the Jews in Lower Austria 1782–1938|; Project collaborator for the Top Citizen Science-Project | Our Expelled Neigbours. Jews in Central Lower Austria – Research and Commemorative Culture| and the project |AKM und Austro Mechana im Wandel von ‚Arisierung‘ und Neugründung| (AKM and Austro Mechana in transition from ‚Aryanization‘ to new formation, in German only) and responsible for the |Neugestaltung des alten jüdischen Friedhots St. Pölten| (Restauration of the old jewish cemetery of St. Pölten, in German only). Researcher for the FTI-Project – Research Association „Food“, subproject |Koscher im Krieg. Die Lebensmittelversorgung der jüdischen Bevölkerung in Niederösterreich 1914-1918 |(Kosher during war. The food supply of the jewish population in Lower Austria 1914-1918, in German only).

From 2019 to 2021 responsible for the project Kosher in Vienna 1848 to 1918. Production and Consumption (in German only, look at |Abgeschlossene Projekte|). Since 2022 project employee for |NS-„Volksgemeinschaft” and Camps in the Central Region of Lower Austria. History – Contact Zones – Memory|
